Dr. Nel uses a variety of gentle, effective techniques including Diversified adjustments, instrument-assisted adjustments (Activator), Hill Drop table adjustments, cervical traction, muscle work, and stretching. Care is always customized to the individual.
Your initial visit takes approximately 30 minutes. Dr. Nel will review your health history, discuss your concerns, perform a detailed exam, and take in-house X-rays if clinically necessary. A gentle initial adjustment is typically provided to help facilitate relief.
In most cases, yes. If it is safe and appropriate, a gentle initial adjustment will be performed during your first visit.
At your follow-up appointment, we will review exam findings, discuss X-ray results if taken, and create a customized care plan. Full chiropractic adjustments and additional therapies will be continued as appropriate.
Once you transition into wellness care, visits are typically about 10 minutes and are designed to fit easily into your schedule.
Yes. A majority of our patients choose wellness care after completing relief and stabilization. Wellness care focuses on maintaining balance, preventing setbacks, and supporting your lifestyle with regular adjustments and at-home practices.
Yes. We provide gentle, personalized care for children, adults, and seniors. Family care is a core part of our practice, and techniques are adapted to each age and comfort level.
Yes. Massage therapy is available in-office and is provided by Gabriela, a licensed massage therapist with over 10 years of experience. She specializes in therapeutic and sports massage and is trained in several modalities.
We do not accept insurance. However, we can provide detailed, itemized receipts that you may submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
No, we do not accept Medicare. Medicare patients will be asked to sign an acknowledgment form in-office prior to treatment.
Initial Visit: $98–$175 (includes exam, treatment, and X-rays if necessary)
Maintenance/wellness Adjustments: $49 per visit
Supportive therapies may include intersegmental (roller table) therapy, electrical stimulation (EST), massage therapy, muscle work, stretching, and corrective exercise recommendations.
